Purchasing Centers

For organizations that are purchasing from multiple suppliers in China , Braincess manages and operates China based purchasing and global sourcing centers. For companies with no or little on the ground sourcing operations in China, we can serve as your virtual sourcing offices.  These purchasing centers provide our clients:

The key function of our purchasing center is to provide complete supply chain control and management through:

The design of the purchasing centers is flexible in order to handle the unique needs of our clients. Some examples of typical projects are as follows:

• Total outsourced solution

Braincess has managed the complete supply chain responsibilities for an overseas client. We were responsible for all of the tactical deliverables from after an order was released to the product was delivered at the client's door. Some items included selecting the appropriate China supplier, ensuring production was on schedule, managing the quality control, and managing the logistics.

• Turnkey solution

One of our clients saw the need for a purchasing center in China , however needed to show tangible results prior to employing expensive Expats to run the operation. In this case, Braincess was called upon to get the process started thus eliminating our clients fixed expenses. Once certain deliverables were met, the client came in with some of their own staff as well as took over some staff that Braincess had dedicated to this assignment. The result served as a nice launch pad for the client involving assurances that deliverables could be obtained as well as gaining experienced staff who already knew their organization.

• Blended solution

Some of our clients opt to send over one or two key purchasing/ engineering personnel from their home office and contract Braincess to supply the supporting local infrastructure and staff. This blended approach has worked well and can be adopted in a turnkey fashion as well.
